Description :: The Berkeley Database Information Index (BDII) consists of a standard LDAP database which is updated by an external process. The update process obtains LDIF from a number of sources and merges them. It then compares this to the contents of the database and creates an LDIF file of the differences. This is then used to update the database.

Release Notes :: This new version of the top BDII fixes a bug in the publication of delayed delete GLUE entries. A new plugin is responsible for publishing cached entries with value 'Unknown' in the corresponding GLUE state attributes. This version also includes a bug fix in the glite-info-update-endpoints script. Bug fixes: BUG #99322: error message if manual file does not exist in the glite-info-update-endpoint configuration script BUG #99298: new plugin to set GLUE state attributes to 'Unknown' when the delayed delete option is configured Removed features: BUG #101709: ldap info provider has been modified for not caching LDIF files in a top BDII
